CFP: Fourth Epistemology Graduate Conference
Deadline: 14th March 2014
Conference: 27th – 28th June 2014
Edinburgh
Keynote speakers: Sanford Goldberg (Northwestern University), Susanna Siegel (Harvard University)
Call for papers: We invite submissions of high quality papers from graduate students to the 4th Annual Edinburgh Graduate Epistemology Conference. Essays within any area of epistemology (broadly construed) are welcome. Essays should be approximately 4000 words.
We strongly encourage submissions from under-represented groups in philosophy. We will be happy to help arrange childcare for any attendees who would find it helpful, so please feel free to get in touch to discuss this, or any accessibility requirements you may have.
The submission deadline for the conference is 14 March 2014. Notifications will be sent out by 11 April 2014.
A distinguishing feature of this conference is that all graduate presentations will have respondents from faculty members at Edinburgh or a neighbouring university. The format of the conference will be a 30 minute talk followed by a 10 minute response with 20 minutes for questions.
All graduate presenters will have accommodation and meals provided.
Submissions will be handled through EasyChair.
Papers should be prepared for blind review and should be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 250 words. They should be in .doc .docx or .pdf format.
Please contact Alex Whalen with any questions or if you need assistance with the submission process.
